Arrive at the Apiary

Make your way to our family apiary nestled in the hills of Barhalioun, Northern Lebanon.

Suit Up

Get fitted with professional beekeeper gear: full suit, gloves, and veil.

Your guide will open the hives and show you the bees at work: the queen, the workers, and the honeycomb.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
Wear long pants and closed toe shoes. We provide the full beekeeper suit, gloves, and veil. Avoid dark colors and strong perfumes.
Is it safe for children?
Yes! Children aged 6 and above are welcome. They'll be fully suited up and supervised throughout the experience.
What if it rains?
If weather conditions don't allow a safe hive visit, we'll reschedule your tour at no extra charge. We'll contact you 24 hours in advance.
How far is it from Beirut?
Barhalioun is approximately 100 km north of Beirut, about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive via the coastal highway.
Can I buy honey on site?
Absolutely! We have our full range of honey available for purchase at the apiary.
How do I get there?
We'll send you detailed directions and a map pin after you book. The apiary is easily accessible by car.
Can I bring my own camera?
Of course! Just make sure it's secure inside the bee suit. We also take photos for you during the tour.
What about bee allergies?
If you have a known allergy to bee stings, please consult your doctor before booking. We keep an EpiPen on site for emergencies.
